第二届国际激光、光学和光电子设备专业展会共有118家公司和单位参展，展览面积1100平米，来自18个国家的3500人参观了展会，其中俄罗斯参观者来自58个地区的152个城市。在展会期间组织了9场专题研讨会，近500人参加专题研讨会，其中包括中俄激光领域的合作论坛，中国参展单位的项目发布会，激光技术在铁路运输领域的应用，激光技术在医学领域的应用，俄德激光领域合作研讨会等。第三届将于2008年3月11～13日举行。

EXPOCENTR and Laser Association invite you to take part in PHOTONICS-2007, 2nd International Specialized Exhibition PHOTONICS Forum is a unique project launched as a result of cooperation of scientists and exhibition experts.

The first Exhibition, that took place in July 2006, fully demonstrated the variety of laser and optic devices and breadth of the consumption market. 113 enterprises, including 24 foreign companies from 13 countries took part in the Show. Optical systems, fiber optical devices and tools, lasers and laser systems, light sources, image reproduction systems, visualization systems, bio-photonics devices as well as service and consulting were presented at the area of more than 1000 sq.mt. 3540 guests visited the Exhibition, and 92 % were the specialists. There were a lot of foreign visitors.

No other field of national high-tech includes so many organizations, allots to so many regions and covers all scientific and technical spheres at the same time. The range of consumers and companies’ specializations is also unique. It is difficult to name a field of human activity where optical and laser technologies are not vital today. Most of today’s high-tech manufacturing use lasers actively. Lately their manufacturing is developing steadily. According to the Laser Association data, during 2005 only the models of national lasers changed for about 30 %, a structure of manufacturing companies for 15 % and even more in laser optics. National manufacturers of laser equipment offer today about 1200 models of laser radiation sources, 190 models of technological equipment, more than 150 models of devices for technical measurement and diagnostics, about 300 models of medical laser devices, dozens devices for characterization of laser radiation.

PHOTONICS-2007 is called to give an important impetus to the transformation process of relevant for the country high-tech workouts into the market product and its further application to the most important fields of economics and social sphere.
